Darth Bane, a pivotal figure in the history of the Sith, is a character known for reshaping the Sith Order after its near destruction in the Jedi-Sith War.
Born Dessel on the planet Apatros, he rose through the ranks of the Republic's Gloom Walkers army before discovering his Force sensitivity. He embraced the dark side on the Sith world of Korriban.
After mastering Sith teachings, Bane implemented the "Rule of Two," stipulating that there should only ever be two Sith: a Master to embody power and a highly skilled apprentice to crave it. This strategy ensured the Sith could operate in secrecy and rebuild their strength. It is featured in the Darth Bane comic series.
While Bane wore standard Sith armour for much of his career, the "Orbalisk Armour" isn't a usual costume. The orbalisks were parasitic creatures that attached themselves to Bane's body. They enhanced his strength and dark side connection, but also gradually poisoned him.
